Things to do in Trafford for care home residents Trafford has a range of things to do for the residents of our care home, The Cedars. There are plently of bus and taxi links into the town from the home and we also arrange trips to the town for those that wish to come along.Waterside Arts Centre: The arts centre houses many different art galleries for a range of tastes, and there are workshops and studios available for the artists to practice. There are also a range of events that happen here throughout the year, including performing arts and dancing. Libraries: If you love reading and need somewhere you can count on for offering new and interesting books, Trafford has serveral libraries offering a range of services. There is a 'Books at Home' service for those who do not wish to or are not able to visit the library in person. They offer reading recommendations, a renewal service and a local studies service amongst others. Remember to become a member of the library in order to use their services - how to join the library. Parks: There are over 20 parks in Trafford which are available to visit for a relaxing walk or a breath of fresh air. This is a lovely afternoon outside the care home for those that are able. Other: There are also museums, cafes, pubs and restaurants to discover should any resident want a break from the care home and spend the whole day in town if they are able.
