Providing
Quality Residential Home Care in North Wales since 1985
Visiting Pen Y Garth residential care home
Pen-Y-Garth is located in a wonderful village of Brymbo, Wrexham, North Wales. Literally meaning "top of the brow"our residential care home enjoys panoramic views across the Cheshire plain. Over the past 25 years it established itself as a key element of Brymbo's community. We take pride in the fact that there is such a local community feel running throughout the home. The majority of the 46 staff are from the local area and have grown up knowing some of the residents. This makes this residential home that extra special because of the familiarity that residents have with one another. Some residents sometimes know each other long before they came to our care home, rekindling friendships, which all adds to the relaxed atmosphere enjoyed here at Pen-Y-Garth.
Care home visits to Pen-Y-Garth, Brymbo, N. Wales:
Our experienced care workers and care home manager Michelle Roberts, know the importance friends and family are to residents in our care.
We welcome you to visit our home, and enjoy our beautiful gardens and scenary with your loved ones. There are stunning views across the Cheshire plain; as you look down from "top of the brow" you have the beautiful valley which is home to St. Mary’s Church. The history of our home goes back to the Steel works that were a major employer in the area in the last century. Pen-Y-Garth actually being the residence of the general foreman of the steel works. The peaceful, large grounds have a small orchard, large pond with Koi Carp and lots of interesting plants and wildlife.
